The Bailiff Said He Has Called The Police.
If a bailiff calls the police, you can find out what the bailiff told the police by viewing the incident report on the police Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD).
You can independently verify if the bailiff lied to you about calling the police by calling the police on the 101 non-emergency number, giving the incident date and place, asking for a readback from the CAD and identifying what the bailiff reported to them. The call handler can read the incident notes from the CAD, which you can use as evidence.
You also have the right to request the police officers' incident notes in writing under section 45 of the Data Protection Act 2018 or Article 15(3) of the General Data Protection Rule (GDPR).
If the police CAD shows a record of the incident that differs from the bailiff's claim, then you can use the evidence at court to discredit the bailiff's honesty and character.
